You play as a guy who just been transferred to a new school. Nobody knows him, and the students are kinda harsh. To fit in, he accepts an invite to a hang out behind the school. It was at night, and deep within the forest! Something ends up happening, giving him the powers of a Katalist.
It’s the only supernatural being that can go toe to toe with the Succubus race. Witches and magicians don’t stand a chance, especially regular human beings. So they are counting on you to restore the balance in this world! The question is, will you be able to do it? Will you be able to resist their sexual attacks and unbelievable attractiveness? It’s up to you to decide 😉

very good game akin to tower of trample and domina, i highly recommend it if you like those. strange timing to finally put it here though, as the new update is rumored to come out today
This game gets more frequent updates which would place is above Tower of Trample imo.
Bowei (the creator of ToT) works on several projects at once and has an extensive backlog of already completed games. Katalist gets more updates as that’s the only game the dev has to work on.
Boda (The creators of ToT) have bee delaying Tower of Trample’s 7th floor for THREE years now. Of there many games (Such as Warrior’s Guild) they have pretty much abandoned. After all of this they are getting sidetracked with other games such as Hallow Mansion and currently Heelfall. The latter of which, you guessed it, had it’s latest update delayed. To top it all off, Boda just started locking down their Discord and likely got all disparaging commens nuked from F95Zone’s ToT thread.
I said nothing about how they chose to manage themselves. Neither did I imply one does something better than the other. I simply stated that one developer works on multiple games while the other works on one. This is a direct and valid answer to your original comment so I don’t appreciate the downvote.
The difference is that this dev doesn’t over promise and under deliver the way Boda does. Boda has stated many release dates and nearly every time they delay another several months. If the Katalist dev did that the fanbase would be calling them out as well. Thankfully they have a much better work ethic and are more upfront with their fans.

Not going to lie, at first I thought the art style wasn’t my thing, but after playing it for a bit, it kinda grew on me. Though I know the game is still a work in progress, it shows a lot of promise. I can only hope the creator also sorts out some of the bugs that makes it a bit more harder to play. But that is pains of an early access style game. Overall, 4 stars.

You gain exp for losing, so lose a few times.
the witch will send you towards the 2nd succubus shortly after, and she (vhidna) is the slightly easier sparring partner
She’s basically a lesson in keeping your Focus and Calm Down skills ready and up. I was probably severely underleveled at EL 4, but hitting her, using Knife Throw, Focus, Calm Down and Energy Slash to get back some health I was able to take her down

you probably shoud concentrate on the magic side of things against her. shattershot generates energy that you can use to fumigate (removes her status effects) or for energy explosion (which hurts her, like alot)
just change difficulty to very easy

depends on your difficulty setting, but there are six ladies you can fight against so far, one of them having two versions.
What does the difficulty setting change in this game? Is there a reward for playing on a higher difficulty?
to my knowledge there is no reward. dunno what all gets changed, but most importantly the damage the ladies do gets reduced. also iirc some moves cost less energy or have less or no cooldown. so overall it makes the battles easier
Thank you for your quick response. I may try easy mode when I start of this game. I keep hearing how this is one of the big 3 femdom games right now. The other two being Domina and Tower of Delays.
comes down to preference of course, but i ilke it a lot.
as with the two mentioned games there are issues here too and we are currently stuck with a rather buggy version for like two months now while the (from what i’ve heard rather inexperienced) dev was busy and didn’t have time to fix things, but afaik he was transparent about it to his patreons and said to resume working on the game right around now. if you don’t wanna wait for that you may wanna take the version here instead of the new one, since it’s way more stable.
Well I definitely didn’t spend over 24 hours grinding not realising that I could turn down the difficulty…ha ha ha…
